UPDATE: Russian ruble real effective rate rises 5.7% in January-February

MOSCOW, Mar 7 (PRIME) -- The Russian ruble’s real effective rate grew by 5.7% in January-February and by 1.7% in February, the central bank said on Tuesday citing preliminary results.
The ruble rose by 2.3% against the U.S. dollar in real terms on the month in February and by 2.9% against the euro.
The Russian ruble’s nominal effective rate grew by 1.7% on the month in February. The ruble stood at 57.94 rubles against the dollar in nominal terms and at 61.26 rubles against the euro.
